STANDARDBRED RACE HORSE BOARDING!
The Early Red Mile Years 1982-1983: Good Times by All - Bart Glass!
The early years of Bart Glass's Standardbred Race-horse career was a great time to be had by all, and his affiliation with Lauxmont Farms brought very good times at THE RED MILE indeed.
Armed with an OUTSTANDING group of horses like Sabella Lobell, Enterprising, and Umbrella Fella: plus a group of drivers and trainers like Glen Garnsey, George Sholty, John Campbell, and J. Hafford made for WINNING CIRCLE TIMES! You can tell by the big smiles on everyone's faces that they were living the dream including “Big Bart” as he was known to some folks. He was really in his element, and it really showed from his breeding work, consulting work, inspecting work – this is where his loved to be – in the WINNER'S CIRCLE. And believe me this was just the beginning of his great career.
Races in the pictures are: THE K.D. Owen 1st Div. And THE Final, TIF Boardwalk Pace Heat, and THE Tattersalls 3YO Pace. Please enjoy our walk down memory lane at The Red Mile with Bart Glass.
